Naïs is a fiery young girl about to be initiated to lead the Kosh, her people, as their Petaä. It is a lifelong dream and a great source of pride from her parents. However, during the initiation ceremony, nothing goes as planned. She ends up freeing an unknown power and passes out. Upon her waking to the staring of a red lark, she realizes that her entire people have been turned to stone. Terrified, Naïs goes in hiding in the forest between islands, convinced
all of this is her fault. There, she will embark on her journey, as a wild child trying to control a power that she resents. This journey, one of discovery and acceptance, will blend into a greater purpose: to save her people and the entire Corä nation from the evil that lies underneath. In Corä’s fantasy island, four islands are connected by suspension bridges.
